This policy explains how Iron Lion Detailing handles personal information collected through ironlionmobiledetailing.com, including customer bookings, technician applications, supply registration, reviews, and related support communications.
Information you provide
- Bookings: your name, phone number, email, vehicle category, selected service and add-ons, city, ZIP code, preferred appointment date and time, referral code, and any notes you submit.
- Technician applications: business and contact names, email, phone, state, base ZIP code, service territories, travel radius, services, and experience or equipment details.
- Technician supply registration: business name, email, business license number, licensed state, and registration status.
- Reviews and support: the name, service, rating, review text, and other information you choose to share. Please avoid including sensitive information or another person's private details in notes or reviews.
We also maintain submission dates, booking or application references, estimates, discounts, and payment or application status. Submitting a booking can create a record even if checkout fails or you do not complete payment.
How information is used and shared
We use information to respond to requests, arrange detailing services, communicate about appointments, manage deposits and payment questions, review technician eligibility, manage supply registration, moderate reviews, and operate and protect the website.
Hosting and database providers, including AppDeploy, process information to run the site. Stripe processes payment information. When arranging a service with an independent detailer, relevant contact, location, vehicle, and service information may be shared with the detailer handling the appointment. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to address fraud, disputes, or threats to safety.
Technician supply registration is currently for coming-soon approval; submitting a license number does not make it public or automatically grant ordering access.
Payments through Stripe
Checkout takes place on Stripe's hosted payment page. We send Stripe your email and booking or transaction details needed to create checkout. Our website stores payment references and status; it does not collect your full card number or card security code in its own forms.
Stripe handles information under its own Privacy Policy. Do not send card details or account passwords through booking notes, reviews, or support.
Public reviews
Reviews are held for moderation. If approved, your submitted name, service, rating, review text, and submission date may appear publicly and be indexed by search engines. Contact support if you want to request a correction or removal. Removing a review from our site does not immediately remove copies held by search engines or others.
Browser storage and technical information
The site uses local storage to remember booking and partner application references, and session storage for the opening animation and supply-registration confirmation. Clearing browser storage may remove remembered status from your device; it does not delete submitted records from our systems.
Hosting and payment providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requests, and error logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting, and may use cookies or similar technologies for their services. Our current site does not include advertising pixels. You can manage cookies and website storage through your browser settings.
Retention and security
Information is retained as needed to manage services and applications, maintain business and payment records, handle disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Retention varies by record type and purpose. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion; records needed for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes may need to be retained.
No website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Use a private device when possible and avoid sharing booking references or payment-return links.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to submit optional information. Required fields are needed to process the relevant request. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete personal information, or to object to certain uses.
To ask about your information or exercise applicable rights, contact Iron Lion through Customer Support and say your request concerns privacy. Include enough information to identify the booking or application, but do not send sensitive identification documents unless a secure verification method is arranged. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If a request is declined, you may contact the same support channel to request further review.
Children and policy updates
Our booking and business-application services are intended for adults. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact support to request review and removal.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
